Dear Mr. King and/or Editor:
I love your new paper. I was a big fan of the former Boca newspaper and I’m glad to see that Boca has its own paper once again.

From left to right: Karen Anderson, Jake, Gayle Denney, Lexi, Samantha Hope, Sarah Cohen, Cindy Shahon, Leona Laper, Bella Shahon.
I’m writing because I wanted to let you know about a recent celebration we had in Boca this past weekend. It was my aunt (a Boca Raton resident)’s 93rd birthday. She celebrated it with my mom (a Boca resident) who is 63, and myself (a Boca resident) who is 33. Also in attendance is my daughter, Lexi (2 months old). We were four generations of women who live in Boca (and we are each exactly 30 years apart in age- 2 months, 33, 63, and 93). We celebrated at TooJay’s deli at the Polo Shoppes in Boca Raton. I’m attaching a picture of the 4 of us (from left to right: Myself (Gayle Denney- I live in Mission Bay), I’m holding my daughter Lexi Joy Denney, in the middle is my great aunt Sarah Cohen (who just turned 93- she lives in Century Village, Boca), and at the end is my mom, Leona Laper (63- who also lives in Century Village in Boca Raton.
I thought you and your readers would enjoy seeing a true Boca hometown celebration by 4 generations of Boca women. Too often these days we hear about sadness and ‘bad news’. I wanted to share some happy news/celebrations with you and your readers.
I’m also including one more photo of all of the women in attendance from our 4 generations of Boca women.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me.
Thanks so much,
Gayle Denney
