Boca police planning “In Pursuit of Safety, a Family Crime Prevention Event” Oct. 23

BOCA RATON – The Boca Raton Police Services Department is planning an event called “In Pursuit of Safety-a Family Crime Prevention event.”

Saturday October 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Town Center Mall, 6000 West Glades Road, in the Sears parking lot.

Activities include a rock climbing wall, two bounce houses, face painting, sand art, appearances by McGruff The Crime Dog and Victor the Viper, on-stage entertainment, the Boca Raton Police SWAT team, motorcycle and bomb squad demonstrations, car seat installations, kids fingerprinting, bicycle helmet fittings and giveaways, Italian ice, public safety information such as poison control and drowning prevention, games, food and prizes, among other things.

Admission is free to the public.
