Bingo Raises Funds for Rotary and Quantum House

BOCA RATON — The Rotary Club of Boca Raton Sunset and the Rotary Club of Boca West joined together with Quantum House for a family friendly Bingo fundraising evening held on June 11, 2011.    The event took place at The Volen Center in Boca Raton.

More than 150 people were in attendance for the evening’s events, which included ten exciting games of bingo, a Chinese auction that featured a wide variety of items and a budget friendly snack bar, where all food items were sold at one dollar.  Everyone had a fun evening and raised funds for various Rotary Charities in the community as well as Quantum House located in West Palm Beach.  “We are thrilled to have the support of the Rotary Club of Boca Raton Sunset as well the Rotary Club of Boca West,” said Quantum House Executive Director, Robi Jurney.  “Their enthusiastic membership reflects the true meaning of the volunteer spirit.”

Each bingo participant brought items from Quantum House’s wish list, which included needed items such as household cleaners, paper products, detergent, tissues, etc.

Quantum House is a caring and supportive home that lessens the burden for families whose children are receiving treatment in Palm Beach County for a serious medical condition.  The House is the only facility of its kind between Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale.
