BOCA RATON — The 49th Annual Boca Raton Regional Hospital Ball will take place Saturday, January 15 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club.
The ball is one of Boca Raton’s best loved traditions and was one of the original events held to raise funds to build the hospital nearly half a century ago.
The old world-themed, black-tie gala will feature a cocktail reception, sumptuous dinner and dancing to the music of South Florida’s Heatwave.
This year’s Ball commemorates the Hospital’s “Quest for Excellence” and celebrates the Hospital’s nationally acclaimed patient care services. The Hospital was ranked #1 in Florida for 2011 in cardiac services, cardiac surgery, and stroke treatment by HealthGrades®, the leading healthcare ratings organization.
Proceeds from the Ball will benefit the Patient Caring Fund, which supports the programs, services and technology that make it possible to deliver an outstanding level of clinical care.
Honorary chairs for the evening include donors who have generously supported the Hospital’s patient care programs: Jean Blechman, Barbara & Irving Gutin, Joan & Myron Kaufman, Marianne Minkoff Lerner & Howard Lerner, Rose Procacci, Jo Ann & Philip Procacci and Gail & Peter Salvatore.
The highlight of the evening’s festivities will be the presentation and recognition of the Ball Honorees — the members of the Medical Staff Executive Committee, representing the physicians who have made the Hospital’s national accolades possible.
Tickets are $400 per person, and table and sponsorships are available. For additional information, call the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation, 561-955-4142, or visit www.brrh.com.
