Sundays at the Butler House: Backyard ‘Garage’ Sale

Garage Sale

The Deerfield Beach Historical Society invites you to bring your garage sale to our Backyard “Garage” Sale on Sunday, July 27th, beginning at 1:00pm at the historic Butler House located at 380 East Hillsboro Blvd, Deerfield Beach. The event is part of the monthly “Sundays at the Butler House,” a series of events scheduled for the last Sunday of each month sponsored by Frank Congemi.

The event, which takes place in the Butler House Backyard under the shade of the age-old Banyan Tree, will allow you to be a seller or a buyer as part of a large community garage sale.

A free concert featuring DYMiN & Lancelot will take place throughout the afternoon. Both musicians are well-known throughout the south Florida area with their island-themed music. There will also be a drawing for a gift basket, donated by Aurora Nurses Home Health Care.

Entrance to the event is free, with optional purchases for food, gifts, and other mementos.    Parking is available at the DFB Post Office, with limited parking adjacent to the Butler House.  The event is organized by the Deerfield Beach Historical Society and sponsored by City resident Frank Congemi.

Anyone interested in being a seller may call (561) 299-8684 or email elilly707@aol.com for information. For those interested in renting seller space, the fee is $10 if you bring your own table or $20 if you request a table; fees to benefit the Deerfield Beach Historical Society.

Each individual garage sale vendor will be responsible for his or her own sales.
