It might not have been one of the biggest venues John Legend, a nine-time GRAMMY award winner, has preformed at, but on Sunday, July 27 Mizner Park Amphitheater was sold out and over 4,000 fans witnessed the “All of Me” star preform some of his greatest songs.

“Boca,” said Legend to the crowd. “I don’t want to brag, but tonight I’ll be the best you ever had.”

As the lights went out, Legend walked onto the stage and began by preforming his hit “Ordinary People” on the piano.

Legend continued with a mix of originals, which included “Maxine,” “Good Morning,” “Who Do You Think You Are,” and other popular hits.

The 35-year-old from Springfield, Ohio then began talking about his early days in the music industry and the many hooks that he had done for artists such as Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.

Legend’s  “All of Me Tour,” which was named after his hit single, has been described as being stripped down in order to make it acoustic and intimate and on Sunday, Mizner Park offered a modest venue to foster this intimate performance and highlight the live instrumentals.
