Female Struck by Vehicle

On Saturday, July 5, 2014, between 11:30 am and 11:45 am, deputies were dispatched to 3800 block of Woolbright Road, Boynton Beach, if reference to a female struck by a vehicle.  When deputies arrived they located an injured female.  She was transported to Delray Medical Center.  There was a dark colored Nissan found nearby with a male deceased inside from what appears to be a gunshot wound.

The investigation has determined that the female found was not only run over but shot, as well.  She remains at Delray Medical Center is very critical condition.  We have learned that the female and deceased male knew each other.  Witnesses told detectives they saw a gray/silver Kia Optima (we believe is the suspect’s vehicle) strike the female, with the vehicle, and leave the scene at a high rate of speed.  We are still attempting to make positive identification of the victims.  No motive or suspect information.
