Office Depot President & CEO Speaks at Boca Chamber’s Membership Breakfast

The Boca Chamber held its monthly Membership Breakfast at Woodfield Country Club this Thursday, April, 10th 2014 with an attendance of 240 people. This month, the breakfast was sponsored by the Office Depot Foundation, and Office Depot’s new President and CEO Roland Smith was the keynote speaker. 

Smith’s presentation was engaging and inspiring; he shared his views on what makes a business successful and gave pointers of how to improve one’s business. To him, leadership, culture and execution are key elements to having a successful business and “the better the execution, the better the result.” (Roland Smith, President & CEOOffice Depot) “The secret to success is executing your plan with excellence,” said Smith, as he concluded his presentation and shared how he set Office Depot’s priorities for the following year.

Among the attendees were Mary Wong, President of the Office Depot Foundation; Elisa Garcia, Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer; John Kelly, President of Florida Atlantic University and Jim Dunn, Vice President and General Manager of JM Lexus, along many other top business executives from Palm Beach County.
