Original Story:

Atlantic High School is being evacuated after Delray Beach police received a bomb threat about 8:20 a.m., police reported on their Twitter account.

Authorities report the students have been evacuated from the school at 2455 W. Atlantic Ave. and ask that parents do not go to the school. No one is allowed on the school property as Sheriff’s deputies, school and city police investigate.

More than 2,100 students attend Atlantic High. End of course testing in classes including algebra and U.S. history were slated countywide for high school students.

According to Delray Beach PD, the ids are safe outside the building waiting for a search to be completed.

Again, if you have a kid at the school DO NOT go to the school. The kids are safe.
