Todd Wolfe Band Resumes “Miles To Go” Tour; Will Preform at Funky Biscuit on Feb. 24

The Todd Wolfe Band resumes their “Miles To Go” tour in support of their critically-acclaimed album of the same name, bringing their rock-tinged, blues-adelic sounds to the Funky Biscuit, 303 SE Mizner Blvd., Boca Raton, Monday, February 24. 8 p.m. No cover. Info: (561) 395-2929 or https://www.facebook.com/TheFunkyBiscuit.

The band is fronted by longtime guitar ace Todd Wolfe, known for his work with the great Eric Clapton; Sheryl Crow (five years as her lead guitarist in the nineties); Carla Olson (the Textones); and Leslie West (Mountain), among others, throughout a stellar career. Todd and band had just returned from yet another road trip – four in 2013 alone, totalling close to 40,000 miles, from the Czech Republic to San Francisco – and received year-end accolodes including a “Best Band” nomination from Rockwired Magazine.  Wolfe has released seven albums since 1999 and has written songs for acts as diverse as country star Faith Hill and renowned jam band, Phish.

“Miles To Go” (American Showplace Music), represents another music milestone in Wolfe’s storied career. The record’s ten tracks run the gamut from straight blues to post-classic rock, each featuring Wolfe’s uniquely rockin’ soulful vocals. Guest performers on Miles To Go (Wolfe’s fifth studio album, eighth total) include noteworthy blues harpist Steve Guyger and organ ace, John Ginty. Wolfe has truly arrived on his own terms, and as Miles To Go proves, creating quality music for the world to hear.
