MagicJack Hosts five-time FIFA World Player of the Year Marta and Western New York Flash
The magicJack will take on five-time FIFA World Player of the Year Marta, United States Women National Team Sensation Alex Morgan and the rest of the Western New York Flash on Wednesday, August 10 at 7PM at the FAU Soccer Stadium located in the FAU Campus in Boca Raton.
The Flash not only has the flashy Brazilian striker, but Canadian National Team captain, Christine Sinclair is also part of the Western New York Flash and is currently the WPS league leader in goals and assists.
The match-up between the magicJack and the Flash will feature over eight players who were part of the United States Women National Team that came in second place in the 2011 Women FIFA World Cup this summer. Players include: Abby Wambach, Megan Rapinoe, Christie Rampone, Shannon Boxx, Hope Solo, Alex Morgan and others.
Come early for the pre-game celebrations as PUMA will be having their “Project Pink Game” with special fan-zone activities starting at 5:30.
PUMA’s Project Pink strives to raise awareness — and funds — in support of the fight against breast cancer. In conjunction with their partnership with Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS), PUMA will outfit some of the best female players in the world in special Project Pink kits for six WPS matches.
Every fan who comes to the game will receive a free pink rally band, free temporary PUMA cat tattoos, pink eye black and will have the chance to make Project Pink their project.
The “Give N Go Project” will also be at the pre-game festivities. Give N Go provides relief to the underprivileged by giving donated soccer equipment to orphanages in developing countries, as well as to the needy in inner cities in the United States.
