FAU sponsoring exhibition from its Jaffe Center for Book Arts
BOCA RATON – An exhibition called “Out of the Book: Selections from the Arthur and Mata Jaffe Center for Book Arts” has opened at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, and it will be on display through Nov. 13.
The exhibit is set up in the Schmidt and Ritter galleries on the Boca Raton campus. It is free and open to the public. Hours are: Monday-Friday, 1-4 p.m. and Saturday, 1-5 p.m.
“Out of the Book” presents a thematic selection of more than 200 book art works featuring the finest and most innovative works from more than 6,000 objects held in the Jaffe Book Arts Center, a special collection in FAU’s Wimberly Library. There will be tours of the exhibition, in both the Ritter and Schmidt Galleries, during the reception.
