What's going on in Boca this week?

BOCA RATON – The following are upcoming events scheduled in Boca Raton.

The activities include:

Saturday, February 19  7 p.m., MUSIC IN THE PARK featuring FIVE BOROUGHS, a group of 12 instrumentalist and vocalists, who take their name from the five boroughs of New York City.  It will take place at the Mizner Park Amphitheater, Federal Highway, just south of Glades Road. Admission is free. Call (561) 393-7827.

Saturday, February 27, 2-5 p.m. TEEN BAND JAM. Teen bands playing all styles of music perform at this outdoor event.  Event takes place at Sugar Sand Park, 300 S. Military Trail, just south of Palmetto park Road. Visit www.sugarsandpark.org for information. Cost is free. Contact (561) 347-3900

March 4-6, Boca High Performing Arts Department will present the musical, MY FAIR LADY March 4, 5 and 6 at 7 pm., and also March 6 at 2 p.m. in the Kathryn Lindgren Theatre, 1501 NW 15th Court, Boca Raton.  Tickets are $8 in advance and $12 at the door.  Call 561-338-1633 or visit www.bocadrama.com.

Ongoing events are:

Each Saturday at 8 a.m., BOCA RATON GREENMARKET, local vendors and live music, in the parking lot of Royal Palm Place, corner of South Federal Highway and South Mizner Boulevard.

Through February, ART DISPLAY featuring works by students from Grades K-5 as part of Boca Raton Community Center’s “Art in Public Places.” The display is open during regular hours at the Boca Raton Community Center, 150 Crawford Boulevard. A STUDENT ARTIST RECEPTION will be held Sunday, February 28 from noon to 2 p.m.  The public is invited.  Admission is free. Call (561) 393-7827 or email elilly@myboca.us
