‘Midnight Cowboy’ to be screened Sept. 11 as part of Reel Art series

BOCA RATON — Can remembering re-make your life? Can those memories be re-made?

“Reel Art” will present John Schlesinger’s 1969 Oscar winning “Midnight Cowboy” Saturday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Boca Raton, located at 2601 St. Andrews Blvd. It is west of 95, north of Glades Road, on the west side of the street (across from Pine Crest School). Park on the west side of the new building (in the back) and enter the door on the south side (around the corner). The film will be shown in the Rockberger Room.

“Reel Art” is an evening dedicated to viewing and discussing great film. The goal is to present films that both explore the media as an art form and stimulate discussion of provocative social content.

A $5 donation is requested.

The next film will be “The Corporation,” presented in September at 7 p.m. Special guest speaker will be Lynn University Professor John Cipolla.
